Throughout history, humans have invented different machines to help them in their everyday lives. Some of the first inventions include lever and wheel.
Although, possibly the most remarkable invention was the car. A French engineer Nicholas Joseph Cugnot manufactured the world’s first vehicle in the year 1769. This vehicle worked on steam power.
Vehicles utilize the energy released from the burning fossil fuels to run. These vehicles have internal combustions engines (ICE). The energy obtained from the fuel in the engine is used to drive the car. This has been the trend since the 20th century. The number of car drivers is increasing day-after-day and so is the consumption of fossil fuels. The fossil fuels are limited in number and will run out one day. This fact has, and is still, worrying scientists. They are desperately searching for alternative energy sources. A lot of solutions have been suggested. One of the solutions was to manufacture a hybrid car.
A hybrid car is one which uses more than one sources of energy. These usually include cars that use internal combustion engine with one or more electric motors. Others also make use of hydrogen, compressed air, solar power, liquid nitrogen etc. These cars use less fossil fuel and hence would reduce the rate at which they are being consumed.
Several big companies are making hybrid cars at the moment. One such company producing hybrids is Lexus. Lexus is renowned for manufacturing quality models, which offers mileage that is more enjoyable and great comfort. It is also well-known for manufacturing cars with enhanced security and safety features.
Lexus has also produced hybrid models. They would of course be up to the peoples’ expectations. It has divided its hybrids into four series: RX hybrids, GS hybrids, LS hybrids and HS hybrids. As always, Lexus has not let down the clients. The hybrids offer increased horsepower. The combined power of the electric motor and the ICE give the V6 engine the power of a V8 engine and give a V8 engine the power of a V12 engine.
The Lexus hybrid creates less pollution. Fewer gases are eliminated from the engine, which means that there is less contribution to the green house effect. It emits 76% less smog-forming gases. So, there would be cleaner air to breathe in the future. The Lexus hybrids are also more fuel efficient than their counterparts. This is because of the dual engine power. The older models depended only on a gasoline engine. On the other hand, the hybrid can run on electric motor as well and consequently save fuel. You can thus now have more greens in your wallet.
The battery that is used to provide power to the car is a technologically sophisticated one, thus you can get longer miles. This battery is charged by using the energy lost in braking.
Lexus is renowned for the comfort level of their cars. Hybrids continue their legacy, and are now they are more luxurious and comfortable than before. The smooth ride and acceleration of Lexus is made better in them.
As Lexus is noiseless when on gasoline, it created some noise on the electric motor. However, that was taken under consideration and the noise was reduced. Then there are evidently the great looks of the car, which turns the people’s heads when you pass from the market area. These cars from Lexus would obviously benefit the human race, as they would provide a greener and cleaner environment in the future.
